I made “Tears of Three” to explore how exaggerated eyes and tiny tears can reveal complicated feelings. The three fragmented figures present vulnerability and surreal expression through bold lashes and soft pastel tones against a spare background. I like that each figure reads differently depending on where you stand — the orange one feels restless, the pink one poised, the blue one reserved.
